A Thin Line between Love and Hate

A Thin Line between Love and Hate

By Esther Iloka

Love is a beautiful feeling, especially when it’s truly meant to be.
What happens when it all comes crashing down?
You are left with a broken heart, a broken spirit, no longer cheerful.

I can’t say I understand what you are going through a hundred percent because our stories differ.
Everyone has their own unique tale to tell of how they got hurt and eventually moved on.
Yes, you heard me right. I said move on because I believe you are going to be fine only if you believe you can do this.

Allow time perform wonders to your hurting heart. Time does heal, it takes away a lot of things. The pain, the memories gradually wash away , only if you give yourself the chance to live again.
I may give you a thousand steps to take to recovery . Some may work and others may not but it all boils down to your PERSONAL DECISION.

DECIDE today that those who hurt you in the past would no longer have that power over you.
DECIDE today that they will no longer becloud your thoughts day in day out.
DECIDE today that your past experience shall no longer define your present.
DECIDE today that you will no longer hurt those around you who truly care about you.
You would open up your hearts to love again because this is what makes the world go round.

All these can be possible only if you decide today.
You will get over it. You will move on. You will be fine. I assure you.
